JVC to launch the CL-S301, a 21.3-inch medical imaging monitor
Responding to the needs of remote and home reading, achieving a comfortable work space with tidy wiring

JVC will release the CL-S301 (21,3-inch 3-megapixel color LCD monitor) as the "i3 series" of medical image display monitor (hereinafter referred to as "medical monitor") in July 2024.

Project’s intention
In recent years, there has been a demand for improving the work environment and efficiency, introducing home and satellite reading rooms, and promoting work style reforms to address issues such as labor shortages, long working hours, and diverse working styles in the field of medical image diagnosis. However, to realize an environment equivalent to medical facilities at home, challenges such as equipment investment and reading environment construction have hindered the introduction of home reading.
The CL-S301 is our first 21.3-inch 3-megapixel color LCD monitor for medical image display, compatible with USB Type-C™ (DisplayPort Alternate Mode*1). This device allows image transmission and power supply with a single USB Type-C™ cable, achieving smart connection with mobile devices. It also keeps wiring tidy and ensures a comfortable workspace. Furthermore, equipped with a KVM switch, it supports two-system input, allowing switching between two different PC terminals with a single monitor, reducing equipment costs and saving space. Additionally, it features our proprietary reading support functions "Turbo Luminance" and "Visual Point Mode" from our high-end medical image display monitors, enhancing usability.
We propose this model not only to large hospitals but also to clinics and for the needs of remote and home reading, supporting the efficiency of medical institutions and the work style reforms of healthcare workers.
